Overview

Maharashtra, the western state of India, is housed with some of the appealing hill resorts of the country. Known as the land of mysticism, encompassed by geographical splendor and inspiring cultural practices, these hill resorts are tucked away in the lush green Sahyadri mountain ranges. Most of these hill stations are the discovery of British rulers and had used them as summer resort. They loved spending most of the time here, during the scorching summer season.
